Mountain Dog Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Fayang ("we") handles your data in the Android game "Mountain Dog" (package name com.fayang.mountaindoggame, "the Game"). This English version is a translation; if it conflicts with the Traditional Chinese version, the Chinese version prevails unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

1. Data stored on your device
Game save: your dog's name, the foods you type in, game values such as nutrition and appetite, the dog roster, and how many boosts you used today. This data is stored on your device. If Google backup is turned on for your Android device, the save is included in Android Auto Backup to your own Google account, where Google handles it under its terms. We cannot access it.
Age screen answer: when you first open the Game, you are asked for your birth year and month. This answer is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded and never backed up. Its only use is to decide whether you are an adult (18 or older) or not, which decides what kind of ads you see (see Section 3).
Please do not put real names, phone numbers, or other personal information into your dog's name or foods. That text is never sent to us, but it is shown on screen and included in backups.
2. How to delete your data
- Uninstall the Game, or clear its data in Android Settings > Apps > Mountain Dog > Storage. This deletes the save and the age screen answer from your device.
- You can delete backups stored in your Google account through Google Drive or Android's backup settings.
- We hold no player data, so there is nothing you need to ask us to delete.
3. Ads (Google AdMob)
The Game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and the User Messaging Platform (UMP) from Google. An ad plays only when you choose to "boost" a feeding. You can play the whole Game without watching ads.
According to Google, the SDK may automatically collect the following data and send it to Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. The data is encrypted in transit:
- IP address (used to estimate general location)
- Interactions with ads (such as taps and video views)
- Diagnostics (such as app and SDK performance)
- Device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID)
Adults (18 or older): where the law requires consent (for example the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland), the Game first shows Google's consent form and does not request ads until you have made a choice. If you decline, you can still play and will only see non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time under "Privacy options" in the Game (shown only where your region requires it). In other regions, Google may show personalized ads under its policies. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings.
Players under 18: every ad request is tagged as child-directed and under the age of consent, ad content is limited to the "General audiences" rating, and only non-personalized ads are requested. According to Google, this stops the Android advertising ID from being sent and turns off personalized ads, remarketing, and third-party ad tracking. Players under 18 never see a consent form. Google may still process technical information needed to deliver and count ads, such as the IP address.

4. Children's privacy
The Game is suitable for all ages and follows the Google Play Families Policy. We do not collect personal information from children. The Game uses a neutral age screen to tell adults from players under 18, and always applies the child ad settings in Section 3 to players under 18. If you are a parent or guardian with questions about your child's data, contact us as described in Section 8.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, the EU and UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, or the US COPPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to opt out of personalized ads.
- We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to give you, correct, or delete.
- To withdraw or change ad consent, use "Privacy options" in the Game, or reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings.
- For ad data held by Google, exercise your rights with Google under the Google Privacy Policy.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
6. Retention and security
We do not keep any player data ourselves. Data on your device stays until you delete it. Google keeps and protects ad-related data under its own policies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the Game adds features or starts using new services. When we do, we will change the effective date on this page. If a change affects how your data is used, we will tell you on this page or in the Game's update notes before it takes effect.
